Solar Panels Plus COO John Williams to Speak at MDV-SEIA Solar Energy Focus Conference Fall: 2009

OGAITHERSBURG, Md.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Solar Panels Plus (SPP), designer and manufacturer of innovative solar water heaters, solar air conditioning/heating systems and photovoltaic solar panels, today announced that co-founder and Chief Operating Officer John Williams will speak at the MDV-SEIA Solar Energy Focus Conference, Friday, December 4, 1:30 p.m. to 2:45 p.m., in Grand Ballroom A at the Hilton Hotel in Gaithersburg, MD.

Williams will be speaking on the subject of commercial solar thermal applications, in terms of kilowatts instead of the more traditional BTU format, and offer comparisons of energy production and return on investment between photovoltaic and thermal applications. Joining Williams in a discussion entitled “Commercial Industrial Installations” will be a panel of distinguished executives, including: Martha A. Duggan, vice president of government and regulatory affairs, United Solar Ovonic, Matt Ferguson, principal with Reznick Group and Francis Hodsoll, CFO, Industrial Power Generating Corps. The panel discussion will focus on marketing, financing and project development in the commercial solar industrial sector. Before becoming the chief operating officer of SPP, Williams was CEO of Skycasters LLC, a leading national and international satellite communications network operator. He has more than 25 years of technology sector business executive experience in management, marketing, and engineering. Prior to entering the solar industry, Williams held senior executive positions in the fields of telecommunications, marketing, software development and energy management.
