Hanwha SolarOne Announces Special Investor Meeting During June 2011 Intersolar Europe Conference in Munich

SHANGHAI, May 31, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Hanwha SolarOne Co., Ltd. ("Hanwha SolarOne" or the "Company") (NASDAQ: HSOL), a vertically integrated manufacturer of silicon ingots, wafers and photovoltaic ("PV") cells and modules in China, today announced that it will host a special investor meeting in Munich, Germany, during the upcoming Intersolar Europe Conference being held from June 6-10th, 2011.

The meeting will be held on Thursday, June 9th, 2011 from 8:00-10:30 AM.  Investors are invited to join Hanwha SolarOne's management team – including CEO Dr. Peter Xie, CSO Mr. Sungsoo Lee, CFO Mr. Gareth Kung, and VP of Investor Relations, Mr. Paul Combs – for an 8:00 AM breakfast, followed by a special presentation and Q&A session from 8:30-10:00 AM.
